Our Dancing Angel Goes to Heaven

Fall 2009

LuAnn was a happy, energetic, creative, beautiful girl who courageously fought cancer for the past 10 years.  It seems like yesterday that we held her in our lap and put her long beautiful hair in braids while gently kissing her little cheeks.
She was a light to many people and had a smile for everyone who knew her.  She loved to dance, especially liturgical dance for Jesus and for the Glory of God.  Wherever she danced she radiated joy and love and many people said they could feel the angels dancing with her.
In looking through her personal files we found "A Testimony of Life for God's Glory."  In her own words she wrote: "My life has not been all joy but I have grown through pain and suffering, which gives me much empathy for others.  When I was a child I could not see as I was severely cross eyed, to the point where my pupils were not visible.  I  had several operations  on my eyes when I was 3 and again when I was 8 years old.. Consequently when I was little, I could not crawl as I would bump into everything.  I learned to scoot around on my bottom, feet first.
Now I am married to my wonderful husband, Paul, who helps me to keep my life on track.  We home schooled our two sons, Jonathan and Matthew, up to the sixth grade.
My deepest desire is to let every breath be a prayer of thanksgiving to Jesus and to serve Him every day of my life. I want more than anything to do and to live in His Holy and Divine Will until I  see Him  face to face!"
She is survived by her husband, Paul and their two boys, Jonathan and Matthew, her sister Mary Jo Tarrien, and her four brothers, Leo, Guy, Ted and Roy.
Veronica and I were privileged to be her parents for 50 years and we know she is now in a beautiful place where we hope to all meet again.
