This mission is more than buildings, houses, food and clothing.  These are only part of the recipe for the main goal of building community and bringing families together by counseling and prayer.  It is also about building houses in our hearts for God to live within us.
       We know that the Holy Spirit is alive and that everyone of us must fulfill the purpose for which God has created us.  We must all put light into the spiritual darkness of this earth by using the  talents and gifts he so generously gives.  Through the prayer ministry we have seen the  Holy Spirit manifest His presence as never before with tremendous healings, both spiritual and physical.
      Hundreds of people in Africa and Peru have been touched and blessed  through the prayer ministry by the Holy Spirit.  It has had a great impact on the staff and volunteers who have been part of the healing ministry team.

      The day we visited the menu was rice, chicken and onions.  The children were very patient and well behaved  showing their gratitude for a hot meal.

Distributing Scapulars

     We have had the opportunity of giving scapulars to thousands of people at different churches in Lima and Chimbote.  After mass the Priest blesses the brown scapulars of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and then the people are invested by placing the scapular over their heads.   In the picture below Father Luis assists us with the investiture of the scapulars in the church of  "Virgen de la Puerta" in Chimbote.
